We welcome you to Oxford Church of the Nazarene.

Our deepest desire is that you would find our family to be a welcoming people and join us as we journey together, growing in love for God and others.

For Sunday service, our welcome team will greet and seat you. A time of praise & worship is followed by a scripture-based message to help you explore or grow in your relationship with Jesus.

when are services?

SUNDAY at 10:30 am is our main worship service.

WEDNESDAY at 6:30 pm is our mid-week connection time which includes a short study and time of prayer. Please note, no one is required to pray aloud. All are welcome!

Is registration required?

Registration is NOT required. Come right along, anytime. We are following all the NS government recommendations to keep you safe. At this time masks are not required, but are worn at your personal discretion.

Where do I park?

You are welcome to park anywhere in our lot with excess parking across the street. We have a couple spots specially designated for visitors near the main doors.

What about my kids?

We love family! We’ve created a safe and dynamic program just for kids! Partway through the service, children in Primary – Grade 6 get dismissed to participate in age-appropriate activities downstairs. Here they can can worship and grow in their understanding of God in a fun way! We also have a nursery staffed by caring volunteers for all infants and children up to age 4. Parents are required to sign their little ones in and can do so anytime during the service.

Is there a dress code?

We want you to feel comfortable. So, if that means jeans and a t-shirt, business casual or suit and tie, go for it. As long as you’re happy, we’re happy! You will fit right in regardless of what you wear.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything or be singled out in any way?

You can breathe easy, the answer is no! We do have ‘new guest’ greeters that will welcome you and offer you a ‘Connect Card’. You can choose to fill it out or not. How engaged and connected you are is up to you.
