With every breath slow, painful, and difficult to draw, the words Jesus used in his final moments were very intentional and hold great significance. He cried out, ‘My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” If you have ever asked God ‘why’, if you have ever felt alone or abandoned… this is a message for you!

Part One: My God, why ?
With every breath slow, painful, and difficult to draw, the words Jesus used in his final moments were very intentional and hold great significance. He cried out, ‘My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” If you have ever asked God ‘why’, if you have ever felt alone or abandoned… this is a message for you!
Part Two: Father, forgive them!
Jesus was betrayed and abandoned. They lied about him, spit on him, beat him, whipped him, stripped him, struck him, and finally drove nails into his hands and feet. And what do you suppose, enduring all that, were the first words out of Christ’s mouth after being hoisted up on the cross? Luke records that he said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Join us today as we explore the topic of forgiveness.
Part Three: It Is Finished!
Some words have the power to change your future—take ‘yes’ and ‘no’ for example. This Resurrection Sunday we will look at the final word Jesus spoke and what it accomplished for you and me. It changed everything! Our prayer for you this Easter is that you would receive Christ’s gift of salvation and experience life in Jesus’ name.
