Then return to join our discussion in the comments below.

Jesus saw the crowds and had compassion on them. He saw people in need and that mattered to him, no matter how busy or tired he was.

God has always been seeing and responding to our need. God was, and still is, pursuing us. God’s grace allows for our eyes to be opened, and when we respond in faith, we come alive.

It has never been about behavior modification. God wants to change our standing with him, to make us right with him and to transform our desires. Jesus pointed to the heart, not the rules. He explained the heart is what defiles a man.

Consider, has God revealed himself to you and have you allowed him to enter in and transform your heart?

Share Your Thoughts:

If Jesus showed up and asked you today, as he asked Peter, “Who do you say I am?”, how would you
respond?

Peter shared his personal revelation from heaven… what has been revealed to you that you can give
personal witness to?
