People had an expectation about what it meant for Jesus to come and establish the promised kingdom. However, being part of the kingdom is opposite to what the world imagines. The world wants power and control, prestige and fame, wealth and recognition.

God’s desires for us are beyond healthy, wealthy, and an easy life. Truthfully, he said it will be challenging for his followers. There is a cost, but the end game is worth the price. When we give our life away, we save it for eternity.
